WooHoo! SC 'just' might be making it into the 20th Century! My friend Lynn, thru massive time and effort, has accomplished something that should have happened years ago. She pushed thru legislation stating that IT IS NOT A CRIME TO BREASTFEED IN PUBLIC in the judicary committee. Thank You Lord. And thank you Lynn!
In case you did not know, a woman breastfeeding her child in public in SC at this moment in time runs the risk of being arrested for 'indecent exposure' in this state. Yes, you read that right. In this day in age, when we are trying to protect our children, raise them right, a mother can be fined for feeding her child.
